Tencent's group wouldn't be this fast, look at their work with soul land its always been late compared to others. I'm not a fan of Tencent when it comes to youtube because they are quick to nuke any content from certain donghua's they air even though they are supposedly banned from the use of youtube.
I had the video of when Tan san was playing the harp in the concert on my channel and it got flagged for copyright infringement so I ended up blocking anyone from seeing it in future which is a shame because it was very melodic.

Even the Soul Land episodes you see on other people's channel would have some weird music overlapping the original to bypass youtube auto copyright infringement bots, I only found out cause my friend doesnt have access to vqq so they were telling me how hard it was to watch Soul Land

That harp music is also used by the author in his Soul Land 2 announcement lol

to be honest, from what I've seen the only one that uses music to try and bypass the copyright does it for perfect world. However, they dont upload the main ones like soul land and swallowed start but upload a lot of others and have even gone as far as compiling the short ones into 3-4 hour videos.
I usually have to look for other channels to watch Soul Land but that is usually only uploaded for a couple of hours then blocked by the owner of the channel. I dont even waste my time with watching swallowed star on youtube because the last few episodes other people have been uploading troll videos that have nothing to do with it. lol

Yeah seen a lot of clickbaiters trying to fake out other Tencent donghuas, and smarter legit ones compile the series to make a mega video like BTTH The Three Year Agreement
Surprisingly bilibili and youku been releasing donghua which is pretty good, you've already seen Dragon's Disciple and Yong Shen, not to mention Fanren which doesnt belong to the Tencent donghua stable
I guess they are really trying to be top of the 3d animation industry

I'm actually surprised Japan didnt go for the 3d style more since they were the first to introduce it in a movie format outside of games. I'm still not sure on the work of youku yet, some of them are okay but dont really stand out as much as others. Dragon's Disciple and Yong Shen are really good though and probably among the best of this season currently.

If you search for them on anilist you will find the trailers for them, San Ti looks pretty awesome especially the 3d environment, I almost thought I was looking at a sci-fi movie lol

3d animations are very expensive after all, most Japanese studios prefer a hybird of 2d/3d, and with the Japanese they only concern themselves with the Japanese market, takes a smaller executive to try and promote it worldwide and a dumbass like the executives from Macross to lock into another contract with Harmony Gold again restricting their franchise from being promoted worldwide, then again cant really complain since their character assets, story and brand name is owned by several companies, none of them seem to agree with what they should do in terms of worldwide distribution
But getting back to 3d, apart from 3d movies and perhaps IG productions (Ghost in the Shell, Patlabour and Appleseed) and a very few others most havent ventured into 3d series, they arent being subsidised by the government and it is a very competitive market in Japan, easier to make 2d or 2d/3d hybird that is less costly and takes up less time to produce

And to my recollection most 3d animation movies made losses or breakeven, scaring most Japanese studios to stay away from full 3d series, Captain Harlock and Final Fantasy Spirits Within comes to mind

I've been waiting for this for what felt like forever, after watching the "Dragon's Disciple" it reminded me of this and couldn't wait!!

Aww shii, we have our first outright enemy who was wrong like the Elder said and wants revenge for his stupidity and arrogant rude inner disciples who f'd with the wrong woman smh. A petty punk who thinks he's higher than he is and was shown how low he really is, publicly humiliated and overpowered by a real gangsta, shows him right aha.

But there's also the fat ass and his minions (who are lowly slaves too smh) hating on the old slave turned newly disciple by Qingxue personally, such a OP beauty giving a lucky guy like him too much attention and even gave him a promotional rank, which pisses them off even more, also defending him from lowly scum (surprisingly killed all 8 pricks) and even wounded that punk Shitai (who also has the word "shit" in his name, can't spell his name without it and shows just who he is internally and externally lmao).

Damn, she really executed them first day with no f*cks given, like umm who said y'all could leave when I want to kill you rats lol (and did it), that's so damn gangsta!! I like her, but as the MC moves up in rank and in her heart, the more conflicting things will get (not including the new girl in red watching in secret possibly being another love interest), this shall be an amazing story, no dope series!! But I can't wait until that fat f*ck is properly punished, either by Qingxue herself after hearing/seeing what he's said & done (basically rejecting her order which she obviously takes personally/seriously) and/or let the MC take his revenge.

Can't wait to see what happens next episode, thinking chick who was watching who's most likely another disciple will lend her sword for her future man crush/lover or watch him kick their asses, but I think the former is most likely (either helping him fight or fight for him).

The girl in red doesn't appear at all by this point in the novel, but I do like how the anime is bringing her in a little early. I know who she is and it does make sense to introduce her now for some foreshadowing. Also, I have no disagreements with your analysis but I would point out that mc is NOT YET a disciple. He wants to be one and that is his goal, but at this point he has achieved the goal of getting into the sect as a servant to Fang Qingxue, since she has recognized his ability to take care of animals he was initially planned to be one of the many servants taking care of the spirit beasts, however his cultivation is higher than almost all of the other servants, plus he showed care for the horse "Sowy" by risking his life so given both his strength and talent she put him in charge of 250 servants taking care of the spirit beasts. The anime doesn't show it but they brought a little over 1,000 people to be her servants and take care of her mountain for her.

So mc is not an outer disciple, inner disciple or core disciple yet and he has zero status in the sect. His life and the life of servants is basically worthless, unless protected by Fang Qingxue. Speaking of outer disciples...I thought the guys she killed were outer disciples in the novel...and not inner disciples as shown here. The novel makes it VERY clear that an elite core disciple - like Fang Qingxue has the legal authority to simply kill any outer disciple in the sect to keep discipline, with zero repercussions. Of course, where there are people there will always be politics and factions.

If I recall correctly, in the novel the Yuhua sect has 100,000 or so outer disciples, One thousand inner disciples and 108 true/core disciples. And I think reaching inner disciple would put one at a position where you can be arbitrarily killed off without a trial, the murderer would be punished by the sect...if caught.

To be fair, NONE of that would have happened if she just stepped out of her cart when they came to "greet" her. But there has to be drama and conflict otherwise why progress with the story? They could have done it so much better. Seems to me like she was goading them on to cause problems, just to cause problems for what's his face. She could have prevented the death of her horse, but she didn't. She seems pretty sus' to me, not gonna lie.
